Andi e Benno non hanno molto in comune a eccezione di una cosa: sono malati terminali e attendono l'imminente morte in una casa di cura. Prima che il loro ultimo giorno arrivi, vogliono però vivere il più bel giorno della loro vita. A tal fine accumulano una quantità enorme di debiti - destinati a non essere mai rimborsati - e si imbarcano in un viaggio chilometrico alla volta dell'Africa.
